Harvard's motto, from the Latin, meaning "Truth," and displayed on its Coat of Arms. Harvard's motto differs from Yale's "Lux et Veritas," from the Latin for "Light and Truth." So, Harvard came first with the truth and then Yale said, you left out God, so they added his "Light" to guide their way.

But the best part of the Veritas motto is that it is stamped into Sunday brunch waffles at Harvard. Yup, there are special waffle makers there so that Harvard students can participate in even more Harvard incest! I know, I know, it's part of school pride, ok, forget I brought this up.
