The new fantastic host of The Late Show. He is the smartest and most talented comedian in today's television world. He has an underlying sense of empathy in everything he says. His character portrays America's backward thinking conservative and republican population. I wonder sometimes how he can be that real in this character.

The brilliant man who mocked President Bush to his face at the 2006 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner

"Now, I know there are some polls out there saying this man has a 32 percent approval rating. But guys like us, we don't pay attention to the polls. We know that polls are just a collection of statistics that reflect what people are thinking in reality. And reality has a well-known liberal bias ... Sir, pay no attention to the people who say the glass is half empty, ..., because 32 percent means it's two-thirds empty. There's still some liquid in that glass, is my point. But I wouldn't drink it. The last third is usually backwash. "

"Over the last five years, you people were so good—over tax cuts, WMD intelligence, the effect of global warming. We Americans didn't want to know, and you had the courtesy not to try to find out"

Extremely good-looking and well-dressed hero who has an outstanding courage. A great comedian for his wit, and a genius for his biting logic.
