An extraordinary movie that portrays Truman Capote's experiences while working on his book, In Cold Blood, and his close relationship with one of the killers, Perry Smith.

--spoiler alert---

The movie includes various discussions from the means of killing(knife and shotgun) to racist assumptions, to Capote's gay life, and his sex discussions, and more importantly his relationship with a criminal.

It is hard to not cry when Capote is crying at the end of the movie.

Capote is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The charismatic, amiable side of Truman Capote shines through almost as well as the devious, manipulative side. Philip Seymour Hoffman expertly emulates Capote's famous mannerisms, idiosyncrasies and countless flaws as he moves throughout the movie.
